Starting 6MWD

I did it…I’ve started the setup of 6MWD App.

• I’ve setup a public repo for six-minute-walk-distance
• I’ve setup an account for my prototypes
• I’ve even setup a project management board

I’ve decided to deep dive into ionic v2, because it’s a small enough app to learn the foundation and basics. It will only have 3 to 4 pages/screens max. I’ll probably have to learn TypeScript, Angular 2 to begin with before I even start with Ionic 2. This is also good because I plan to add some unit tests as well. I’m apprehensive as I’m unfamiliar with setting up javascript unit tests in Ionic period. For the most part I’ve usually joined teams where the setup for unit tests has been done. I’ve setup mocha and chai in small apps before. But when I’ve googled tutorials on setting up unit tests for Ionic they seem quite lengthy and complex.

I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy.

If anyone has done this before or provide links comment below, it would be a great help.
